A network of mosques and community religious institutions managing prayer scheduling, donations, and community communication largely by hand.

The Challenge

Religious institutions carry significant administrative weight with limited administrative staff: prayer time coordination, event scheduling, donation collection and receipting, and communication with a large and often dispersed community. Manual processes meant donations went untracked, events were poorly attended due to weak communication, and administrators spent hours on tasks that should have taken minutes.

Our Solution

Via Codos built Qalam MMS (Mosque Management System), a purpose-built digital platform covering prayer time management, event scheduling, donation tracking with automated receipting, and community-wide communication tools including SMS and app notifications.

Implementation

• Requirements gathered directly from institution administrators across multiple sites to reflect real operational needs, not assumptions
• Donation module built with full audit trail and automated receipt generation for transparency and accountability
• Multi-language support for community communication
• Phased rollout starting with a pilot institution before wider deployment
